Explain your initial training experience

Handyman Connection Franchise Owner Training

Opening a business is a big step with a lot to learn and many factors to consider, which is where the Handyman Connection training phases help you bridge the gap. Franchise owners don’t need to have a prior background in home improvement or construction to run the business. We take the time to ensure that you’ll be steeped in the day-to-day operations, so you can seamlessly step into a position of leadership. Our goal is to provide you with thorough preparation and get you ready for day one when you first open your doors to the public. Because there is so much information to cover, the training is broken down into three simple phases.

Our Training Phases Prepare You to Launch

During the initial phase, you’ll meet with a current franchise owner who will show you the ropes over the course of an eight-week training period. You’ll get a first-hand account of how the business is run on a daily basis before you even begin the official Handyman Connection training. The idea is that the information you’re taking in will snap into place better when you’ve seen it put to practical use. Franchisees will learn about and see for themselves how the various components of owning a handyman business come together in a real-world way.

Official bootcamp training involves learning about managing finances, processing payments, workers’ compensation and going through real life scenarios to give you a more in-depth understanding. The next phase will allow you to take the reins at a franchise location for 30 days and then resume the training with your growth group. After gaining hands-on experience, you’ll see that the business continues to run independently even if you momentarily step away. This is because each member of your team has received training and they can perform their job without constant supervision.

Learn the Ropes of Successful Leadership

Although there is a lot of information to take in during training, the phases are designed to be as intuitive as possible. The everyday systems and procedures you’ll follow will be delivered in a systematic step-by-step process that is easy to remember when you’re on the job. Once you’re done with training, you’ll be well prepared to run a franchise location of your own. You too can be successful in this lucrative industry when you go through the Handyman Connection training for franchise owners.
